Drummer Nick Chmel is a busy man. Hot on the heels of his band False Colours‘ debut full length comes Party Like Thieves. Featuring Chmel, Jeremy Van Zandt (former False Colours vocalist), and Ross Franklin, the band is a tight, pop-punk power trio delivering bursts of downstroke guitars and snotty melodies. Party Like Thieves have yet to play any shows but this EP, recorded in a few quick sessions at Black in Bluhm Studios with Chris Fogal (The Gamits), nicely proceeds their emergence.
